Your Journey Along the Historic Bellarine Railway
Your slow-moving culinary adventure begins with a red carpet welcome at Drysdale Station, where anticipation builds as the crew invites you aboard. Once everyone is comfortably seated, the train eases into motion, winding through the rolling hills of Suma Park, past vineyards, farmland, and open skies.
The track hugs the glittering edge of Swan Bay, where seabirds skim the water. As the scenery unfolds, our attentive team begins serving the first courses of your five-course feast.
By the time you arrive at the historic Queenscliff Station, you’ll be feeling relaxed, satisfied, and fully immersed in the journey. Here, the engine turns for the return to Drysdale, and guests are welcome to step onto the platform to stretch, snap photos, and savour the moment before reboarding for the return journey and final courses.

Where does The Q Train depart from?
All journeys begin and end at Drysdale Railway Station, 2–10 Station Street, Drysdale.
When are the Steam Locomotive services?
Is parking available at the station?
Yes, there’s free onsite parking at Drysdale Station, just steps from the platform.
When should I arrive for boarding?
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before departure. Boarding opens then, giving you time to settle in before the train departs.
What happens if I’m late?
Is this a return trip?
Yes, the journey is a three-hour round trip from Drysdale to Queenscliff and back again, through the heart of the Bellarine.
